About Action on Addiction – For Families
Providing support in a fully dedicated way for those, children and adults, who are personally affected by another person’s addiction.
Services Provided:
Residential family programme:-
A four day residential programme to help adult family members/carers time and space to reflect on the situation and how life might be improved, spending time with others experiencing similar difficulties. Delivered several times a year in Warminster, Wiltshire.
M-PACT (Moving Parents and Children Together) Programme:-
Providing support to children living with or affected by their parents substance misuse. An 8 week programme; consisting of 2.5 hours per week for up to 8 families at a time, engaging with the whole family where possible.
Professional training is also available.
