Community Engagement Managers (CEMs)

Community Engagement Managers (CEMs) are important partners for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations. Employed by Wiltshire Council, CEMs work across Wiltshire to create welcoming and inclusive communities by supporting and enabling groups and individuals with:

  • Grants and funding applications
  • Developing local projects
  • Area Boards
  • Local events, news and publicity
  • Consultation, engagement and inclusion
  • Enhancing local service delivery
  • Resolving community issues
  • Support, advice and signposting

Safeguarding Vulnerable People Partnership

The Safeguarding Vulnerable People Partnership (SVPP) was established in early 2019 to replace the Wiltshire Safeguarding Children Board (WSCB).  The SVPP meets regularly to ensure local organisations are working together to safeguard and promote the welfare of local children including identifying and responding to their needs.
